Summary

This study will analyze existing medical records from patients who attended the Geriatric Outpatient Clinic between 2023 and 2026. The aim is to better understand the factors associated with falls and mobility problems in older adults. Information on health conditions, medications, mobility, balance, cognitive function, and previous falls will be examined. The findings may help improve falls prevention and the care of older people. No additional examinations or patient contacts are required, and all data will be processed in accordance with data protection regulations and analyzed anonymously.

Primary outcomes

The aim of this study is to retrospectively analyze clinical routine data collected during regular outpatient visits at the Geriatric Outpatient Clinic (GISA) in order to gain a comprehensive and differentiated understanding of patients attending the GeriCheck, SturzCheck, and SturzImpfung services. The analysis will systematically describe demographic characteristics, geriatric functional profiles, diagnoses, mobility, physical activity and sensor-derived data, fall events, medication-related factors, and overall functional status.
