Primary outcomes

Since the study is intended solely for prospective data collection, no primary or secondary clinical endpoints are defined. Instead, technical and biomechanical parameters are recorded, which are intended to enable subsequent algorithmic modeling of tissue stiffness. The data collected includes control-related and electrical measurements from the ultrasonic aspirator (current, voltage, frequency, phase shift, power), biomechanical reference measurements of tissue stiffness via indentation (Pa), force data from the precision balance, the surgeons’ subjective assessments of stiffness and homogeneity, and the neuropathological diagnosis. These metrics are used exclusively for exploratory analysis and the development of algorithmic models to describe tissue interaction.
